So earlier, I pretty much admitted to myself that maybe - just maybe - Selena Gomez, as much as I love her, won’t or can’t be able to portray Hannah Baker properly.
Hannah used to be innocent, then due to everything, she became a depressed girl with a roller coaster-kind of life. She’s a bit badass, too. Somehow.
On the other hand, Selena is just… innocent. She’s still that kid that got famous because of one of the best shows in Disney.
Thirteen Reasons Why filmmakers, please do change Selena. I know she has the potential, but none of us can picture her as Hannah. Please choose someone who has a more badass personality like Elle or Dakota Fanning, Saoirse Ronan, Hailee Steinfield, Abigail Breslin, Isabelle Fuhrman - especially Isabelle Fuhrman!
